Bible Verse and Prayer — Matthew 6:9-13

your kingdom come,

your will be done,

on earth as it is in heaven.

Matthew 6:10

This passage contains the most famous prayer in the Bible. It is called the Lord’s Prayer. Jesus gave it to his disciples to teach them how to pray.

Prayer

Our Father in heaven, we worship you and lift up your name. May your kingdom come, and your will be done on this earth, just as it is in heaven. Give us what we need for today. Forgive us and help us forgive those who have hurt us. Protect us from temptation and the attacks of the evil one, in Jesus’ name, amen.
